CRIN was pleased to help organize and host an exciting methane networking event on January 14.

The Methane Mixer, hosted in collaboration with PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada, Spartan Controls, Avatar Innovations, and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), was a high-energy, hands-on networking experience that brought together operators, innovators, regulators, researchers, associations, and government to highlight practical methane-reduction solutions.

Teams visited a series of interactive stations hosted by industry experts, where they took away “golden nuggets” of information and learned about technologies that advance methane detection, measurement, mitigation, and management in Canada.

Exhibitors sharing their insights in creative ways included ARC Resources, BMO Capital Markets, Carbon Management Canada, CarbonAi, CRIN, PTAC, and the ETC Foundation, Envirosoft, Methane Emissions Leadership Alliance, Modern West Advisory, and Emissions Reduction Alberta, PETRONAS Canada, Spartan Controls, and Tourmaline.

After visiting each of the stations, teams then competed in a trivia contest about the “golden nuggets” they had learned throughout the evening.
