2026 PETRONAS International Energy Speaker Series

Join us on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, for the 8th annual PETRONAS International Energy Speaker Series. This year’s keynote features Edward Fishman, sanctions expert, policy strategist, and author of Chokepoints: American Power in the Age of Economic Warfare. Fishman will deliver a keynote address, followed by a fireside chat, joined by Robert (RJ) Johnston, Director of Energy and Natural Resources Policy, School of Public Policy and moderated by Jackie Forrest, Executive Director of the ARC Energy Research Institute.

Edward Fishman's writing and analysis are regularly featured by major publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. As former U.S. State Department official, he brings sharp insights into how sanctions, supply chains, and shifting alliances impact energy markets and global stability.
