CRIN EOR Lunch & Learn: Enhanced Oil Recovery State of the Art and the Case for CO2 EOR under the Alberta/ Canada Grand Bargain

The recent Alberta / Canada pipeline Grand Bargain has re-opened the door for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) as a beneficial use for CO2 to help provide a carrot for the hydrocarbon industry to capture its CO2 emissions and put them to a beneficial use in the oil patch.  
Richard Baker will unpack what EOR is, where it makes sense, and the Alberta CO2 EOR or disposal value propositions from a producer and environmental point of view. Eric Delamaide, IFP will highlight progress in the Chemical EOR sector and its value proposition and Ali Telmadarreie, Cnergreen will discuss advances in the use of Armorfoam (a previous CRIN funded project) to augment EOR techniques.
