About the Competitions
Canada is leading the world in the creation of cleantech solutions to address the environmental challenges of resource development. Like any ambitious goal, we will be successful through a combination of bigger leaps and smaller steps.
The challenges are significant, and the clock is ticking. We need diverse teams of innovators, producers, governments, investors and others working together to accelerate many solutions through to commercialization and widespread adoption.
CRIN’s three Oil and Gas Technology Competitions provide up to $80 million in matching funds for late-stage breakthrough clean energy technology projects. Each of these competitions have unique focus areas, funding awards and timelines. What they have in common is the ability to accelerate solutions that will significantly improve environmental performance, help meet climate change targets and provide economic and public benefits for Canada.
